In addition to our theatrical productions and concerts, Sunrise Players presents two powerful worship experiences that bring Scripture to life: Stations of the Cross and The Living Last Supper. These sacred presentations offer meaningful moments of reflection and connection as we share the story of Jesus with our church and community in a deeply visual and emotional way.
Living Last Supper
Every other year, we present The Living Last Supper, a dramatic portrayal inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s famous painting. In this powerful event, each disciple comes to life to reflect on their relationship with Jesus and what the Last Supper means to them.
Through monologues, music, and scripture, the audience is invited into the room where Jesus broke bread for the final time — making this a spiritually rich and unforgettable worship experience
Stations of the Cross
Each year during Holy Week, Sunrise Players presents a moving Stations of the Cross Tableau — a silent, visual reenactment of Jesus’ final moments before the crucifixion. Set throughout the Sunrise Church campus, each station invites attendees to pause, reflect, and walk the path of Christ’s sacrifice in a powerful and prayerful experience.
This interactive event is a profound reminder of God’s love and a meaningful way to prepare hearts for Easter.
